Ishq Murshid - Episode 26 | 31 March 24 | Bilal Abbas and Dur-e-Fishan
"Ishq Murshid," translated as 'Love Guide' in Urdu, is a delightful romantic Pakistani television series directed by Farooq Rind and jointly produced by Moomal Entertainment and MD Productions. The show features Bilal Abbas Khan and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem in the lead roles.
The storyline of Ishq Murshid revolves around the captivating romantic journey of Shahmeer Sikandar and Shibra Salman. Shibra, portrayed as a resolute, intelligent, and selfless young woman, stands firm in her principles and holds her family values dear. Despite hailing from a modest middle-class background, she remains unswayed by material wealth or societal status.
On the other hand, Shahmeer emerges as an enigmatic and affluent figure, having pursued his education abroad in the UK. However, his character is haunted by a childhood scar – the untimely death of his mother, Zubaida. The story unfolds with Shahmeer's conflicted relationship with his father, Dawood, who remarried the caretaker, Farah, after Zubaida's demise. Shahmeer harbors resentment towards this union, refusing to let go of the past
The narrative takes an interesting turn when Shahmeer encounters Shibra at his best friend Faraz's wedding. Enthralled by her confidence and alluring personality, Shahmeer is instantly drawn to her. Despite Shibra's aversion to opulence and corruption, a comedic sequence ensues as Shahmeer, Faraz, and Maliha conspire to make Shibra marry Shahmeer, going against her preference for her father's choice.
Simultaneously, Shibra's sister, Sukaina, faces marital challenges with her cousin Zohaib. Due to Zohaib's family's greed, his mother refuses to accept Sukaina as his wife, causing distress to the couple.
Shahmeer embarks on a well-thought-out plan to win Shibra's heart. Adopting the persona of Fazal Bakhsh, he disguises himself as a poor man and secures employment at Shibra's father's office. His intricate scheme involves daily interactions with Shibra's family, as he takes on the role of delivering lunch to her father under the guise of a humble worker.
"Ishq Murshid" weaves together elements of romance, comedy, and familial dynamics, making it a captivating and engaging television series for Pakistani audiences.
